Yuen Yang Razors (Rooster Knives)

Rooster knives
This is a fascinating weapon that seems to be exclusively used by Baguazhang practitioners. They are also referred to as Elbow knives. Usually all metal in construction, with a ‘head’ which resembles a Rooster. Many knives have small claws and often the pointed end has a small reservoir which can be dipped in poison.

The knives are used in pairs and often the weapon is usually held against the forearms similar to the Japanese Tonfa. The spinning and twirling turning aspects of baguazhang in conjunction with the many cutting, tearing and stabbing features of these knives makes going up against this weapon like walking into a crazed buzzsaw.

We have found an online vendor which carries an excellent version of these intimidating weapons.

Here is where you can purchase Yuen Yang Razors (Rooster Knives) (scroll to the bottom of this page)
